It's all starting to come together now. In the start of this episode we see Frank Castle cleaning up for his trail. Different people are being question for jury duty for the case. It is interesting to see to different views people have about Castle and his motives. The show does a great job of almost splitting it down the line. Some people agree and like what Castle is doing out on the streets. While others are disgusted and appalled by his actions. I enjoyed the beginning of this episode, because it shows more of Matt and Foggy's day job as defense lawyers. Plus, we get to see more of Karen speaking with Frank, and trying to build a case for him. They try to pitch him a PTSD plea. Castle doesn't bite. He calls it insulting. Not to him, but to the people who truly suffer from the condition. Ha....would you look at that, he has a human side to him after all. Good for you Mr. Castle.
Speaking of inhuman, Elektra is starting to really screw things up for Matt. Not to mention seems to really be getting into his head. It's crazy to see how easy it is for her to persuade Matt into doing anything with or for her. She says jump, and he doesn't even ask how high. He starts jumping. It can be a bit frustrating at times. It even goes as far as he will threaten to throw a man out a 30 story building to his death, just to get the answers Elektra wants. I have a feeling this is going to cause a rift between Foggy and Matt. There seems to be no way around it. Matt is continuously running off to help Elektra beat down bad guys, while Foggy works around the clock for the biggest trial in their lives. Matt going off to be Daredevil and not pulling his weight is only going to lead to more anger from Foggy. Again, this is continuing to show that Foggy is more than just a silly, sidekick character. There is so much depth to him this season. I absolutely love it.
Okay....so this is where I may contradict myself a bit. Even though Elektra is keeping DD from helping Foggy and the firm, it sure is a lot of fun watching the two of them kick ass. When it comes to whooping up on some Yukuza gang members, they are a pretty good team. Though the next day of course Matt is freaking late to court, and Foggy is the one who has to give the opening statement. See like I said...rift between the two friends. Not to mention, Elektra is now getting involved in Matt's work life, by threatening a key person to the case.
Lastly, at the end of the show Elektra and Daredevil find a large pit in a building that it seems like something The Hand created. I am sure they will have "friendly" ninja visitors real soon.
