Today marks the start of the Fall Season at The Levitt Shell. Celebrating 80 years (yes, you read that right – 80 years!), the Shell will host a series of free concerts and films throughout the autumn season. The fun kicks off today at 1 p.m. with the Stone Cold Picnic, an iconic event now in its 42nd year. Featuring both local and national talent, the 2016 WLOK Stone Cold Picnic will run until 10 p.m. A full schedule of today's line-up can be found here.
It's the perfect weather to spend the day outside, so grab your friends, family, and a lawn chair and head out to Midtown. If you aren't able to make it to today's festivities, don't fret: The Shell will be serving up a host of other exciting events throughout the season.
Make sure to mark your calendar for September 13, when the Shell will host its 80th Anniversary Celebration.
