Whether you're celebrating Valentine's Day or boycotting the night altogether, there are lots of cool events taking place in the M-Town over the next week.
Pinot's Palette is hosting several painting parties for couples, and if you've never been to one of these trust me when I tell you they're hella fun. And if you're not artistically inclined, don't fret: I'm the least talented painter you'll ever meet, and even I have been able to produce reasonably good work at these events. Seats sell out fast, so you'll want to book ASAP. (As a bonus, they'll be offering chocolate and roses for all couples.)
Five in One Social Club is hosting one of their most popular events, the Wine Bottle Glasses night. It's a cool and crafty workshop where you'll learn how to turn your empty bottles into workable glassware. If drinking isn't your thing, then check out their Chocolate Casting workshops on February 11 & 13.
If you're looking for an alternative to the usual Valentine's Day fare, be sure to check out the 3rd Annual Titled Hearts Pinball Tournament hosted by Memphis Made Brewing. Endorsed by the IFPA, this popular event will take place on February 18 from 2-6 p.m. There's a $10 entry fee, but that covers all your games (in other words, no coin drop). You can find out more information here.
